THE ARTIST

Monique Johnson is one of the most unforgettable women that most will encounter in their lifetime. Born in Manhattan, NY and raised in Winston Salem, NC, Monique stands only two feet tall in stature. In spite of her height and many challenges, she is a powerful example of overcoming impossibilities.

 

Affectionately known as “Your Favorite Little Artist,” her abstract works speak to never allowing anything to confine or stifle the greatness within you.

She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University and her law degree from Elon University's School of Law.

As a result, she has been featured on many news platforms including FOX and CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and has been invited by the White House under the Obama administration to help unite women from across the globe (The United State of Women).

Today, as a cofounder of Made 2 Soar, LLC, Monique travels the country speaking and displaying her collections.
